Ms. Charles is Chief Executive Officer of Missinipi Broadcasting Corporation Saskatchewan’s fast-rising and premier Indigenous Language Radio and Television Broadcasting network based in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Deborah was also appointed to the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network of Canada and is the Chair of Governance Committee. Deborah heads. APTN has presented both challenges and growth opportunities. Deborah has undertaken her work on the APTN Board with a dedication and a resolve to use work, dignity and ethics in helping that fledgling national communications organization to grow. She is one of the founding members of the Canadian Association of Indigenous Broadcasters and in 2018 launched an Indigenous Radio Stations in Ottawa and Toronto. Deborah is a member of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
